The Team
Great people who know how to make every guest feel at home are the difference between a restaurant and an enduring tradition. Learn more about the familiar faces that bring your Palm to life.

Michael Meyer
General Manager
Michael Meyer found his home at The Palm in 2007, starting in Coral Gables, Florida, then making the short move to serve as General Manager of The Palm Miami, just across from Miami Beach. Michael’s regulars cherish their lobsters, martinis, and the delicious prime rib specials.
Michael considers “consistency” and “tradition” The Palm Miami’s bywords. His team consists mostly of Palm veterans who have remained with the institution for decades. The Palm Miami’s extended family of guests includes plenty of dog lovers, so the restaurant is happy to support the ASPCA and other animal-related charities, as well as local police and civic organizations.

Kendall Jacobson
Sales & Events Manager
Kendall Jacobson joined The Palm in March 2025 as Sales & Events Manager. A lifelong Orlando resident, Kendall developed an early appreciation for hospitality through her mother’s career in restaurant sales and many memorable family dinners at The Palm.
Before joining the team, she served as Sales Manager for Rodizio Grill, supporting multiple western-market locations before returning home to Orlando. Kendall is passionate about creating meaningful, memorable events and believes that thoughtful personal touches are what transform a gathering into a lasting experience. Outside of work, she grew up riding horses and competed collegiately in equestrian events.

Michael Romano
Executive Chef
Chef Michael Romano discovered his passion for cooking at age 14 while working in an Italian restaurant and learning family recipes alongside his father. After earning a degree in Culinary Management from The Art Institute of Jacksonville, he built his career with respected brands including Bonefish Grill and Ruth’s Chris Steak House, where his talent and dedication led him to Executive Chef roles across multiple locations.
Today, as Executive Chef at The Palm Miami, Michael brings a lifelong love of cooking, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Outside the kitchen, he enjoys golf, staying active, spending time on the water, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
