Behind The Scenes of The Palm’s Website

For over 90 years, The Palm has been creating restaurants known not only for steak and lobster but also for becoming a second home to loyal regulars – a place to celebrate special moments and make memories with people who treat you like family.

Though The Palm family has grown in these nine decades to more than 20 locations across the country, we still embrace our smallness, intimacy, and a close-knit community of friends and extended family. 

So when we decided to reinvent our storied brand’s website, it only made sense to go back to our roots. We could think of no better way to capture the warmth and hospitality for which we are known than to tell our story with our own guests and team members.

When you watch the homepage video and browse the pages of our website, you’re seeing real guests, real staff members, real food, real drinks – and a really good time! It’s a party that started almost a hundred years ago, and everyone is invited. All of the people featured choose to celebrate life’s important moments with us, whether they are the ones creating the magic, or those enjoying the show.

For the video, which we call “Dreaming of The Palm,” we spent two months ‘casting’ both customers and staff, and coordinating schedules, wardrobe, and families. We then spent two days filming them doing what they do regularly – enjoying everything The Palm has to offer.

To create many of the images you see throughout our site, we commissioned a seasoned photographer to spend a full day at each one of our restaurants documenting the people, spaces, and details that give that setting its unique flavor – a genuine day in the life.

Our guests and staff are – and always have been – the most important part of our story. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing our new online home to life. Here’s to you – cheers!
