Michael Martin, General Manager
For nearly thirty years, Michael Martin has been working in the restaurant industry with a proven track record for customer satisfaction and professionalism in his work. Michael began his career as a fourteen-year old busboy at "Ricky's Clam House" in the Bronx. He then switched gears and worked as a Project Manager at an international law firm for four years; it was there he became acutely aware that his true passion was in the service and hospitality industry. In the spring of 2002, Michael joined The Palm family where he opened The Palm in downtown Los Angeles as a server. It was at that location he was awarded "Server of the Year" in 2003 by the California Restaurant Writers Association. Michael then transitioned into The Palm's management team in the fall of 2004 as an Assistant Manager in Philadelphia and was quickly promoted to Assistant General Manager in the spring of 2005. Michael came full circle in December of that same year when he was promoted to General Manager of The Palm in Orlando, his current position. During his quick ascent/ascension, Michael has embraced The Palm philosophy of providing his guests the ultimate dining experience. He always strives to exceed his customer's expectations by anticipating their every need. According to Michael, "the rewards of the job are great but there are none greater then the exuberance of a loyal Palm customer or meeting a 'first timer' who was wowed by their dining experience." In 2009, Michael was the recipient of The Palm's annual "Gigi Award", an honor reserved for individuals who demonstrate the commitment to preserve the old-world hospitality and charm found at the original Palm for the past 80 years, qualities which were demonstrated by the award's namesake, Gigi Delmaestro. Michael's other loves are his wife Candace and and his daughter and son.

Larry Sinibaldi, Executive Chef
Larry Sinibaldi has had a passion for cooking since he was a teenager in a small town in central Pennsylvania. After high school, he attended culinary school at The Academy of Culinary Arts in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In 1991, Larry’s decision to relocate to Orlando would jump start his career. For the next ten years, Larry worked for Hilton Hotels at Walt Disney World and ultimately became Executive Chef of the Hilton in Orlando. At this point in his career, Larry decided he wanted to move into high-end restaurants. He accepted the position, as Executive Chef for the Palm Restaurant in 2002 and it has been a perfect fit ever since. Larry is proud of working for a company with such a strong heritage and history. The Palm is the oldest family owned white table cloth restaurant group in the country with the first Palm being opened in 1926 in New York City. There are 29 restaurants around the country and are frequented by local patrons and celebrity clientele whose caricatures decorate the walls. Larry also takes pride in the Palm’s commitment to only serving the highest quality of food. The Palm Restaurant specializes in prime beef, jumbo Nova Scotia lobsters and Italian fare. Marisa Mathews, Sales Manager
Marisa Mathews is dedicated to creating flawless events and parties from beginning to end. When it comes to catering, Marisa uses her extensive experience of over 15 years in hospitality to oversee one-of-a-kind events for the clients at The Palm Orlando. After extensive exposure to different elements within the hospitality field, her true passion for sales and event planning surfaced. Marisa Mathews accepted a position as sales manager at Planet Hollywood in Orlando Florida. Here, she gained an innate understanding of the food and beverage industry. After several years, she decided to join the acclaimed family owned restaurant, The Palm, at their Universal venue located in the Hard Rock Hotel. The meetings and convention market is very valuable to the restaurant, so our goal is to ensure that everyone has a successful event and a memorable experience. We want you to return, year after year, and enjoy the relationship that has been built with a team that truly cares.
