The Palm is committed to ensuring gender and ethnic diversity within The Palm family. The Palm Diversity Plan includes a focus on promoting diversity within The Palm`s choice of vendors, hiring practices and growth of their guest base. The Palm has involved itself with the Women`s Food Service Forum, on both a participation and sponsorship level with their annual conference and regional connects. Internally, The Palm introduced an initiative with the Multicultural Food Service and Hospitality Alliance (MFHA) to identify and develop multicultural management talent within the restaurants that included hosting Gerry Fernandez, President and Founder of the MFHA, to address The Palm`s annual management meeting.

The MFHA organizes national conferences and develops products which provide solutions and opportunities for the industries most pressing diversity issues. |
