Jon Edwards, General Manager
Jon Edwards grew up in San Diego, California and got his start in the restaurant business as a busser in 1977 at Caravaggio's Italian Restaurant. He quickly made his way from busser to prep cook and his early work experience lead him to obtain a degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Hotel/Restaurant Management. After graduation, Jon started his career with Red Lion Hotels in Food and Beverage Management. Jon continued his career as Food and Beverage Manager for Sheraton Grande Torrey Pines in San Diego, Restaurant Manager for Rusty Pelican Seafood in San Diego, and then General Manager of Trophy's Sports Grille in Newport Beach. Jon then became the Operations Manager of Donovan's Steak & Chop House in San Diego, followed by a stint as General Manager of Ruth's Chris Steak House in San Antonio. Jon is pleased to have joined the Palm Restaurant in San Antonio as General Manager in January 2010 and we are so lucky to have him! Jon is happily married to wife, Annette, and Dad to 4 Children, Stephanie, 20, Jocelyn 19, Jared 16, and Ian 10. When he isn't busy at The Palm, he lists his favorite hobby as "whatever the kids are into at the time."
