Without any formal ‘chef’ schooling or training, Chef Marco’s culinary flair has come from his intuition and practical experience. Marco has been with The Palm since it’s doors opened in July of 1996. Starting on the line as a broiler cook, Marco worked his way through the kitchen as Sous Chef, being promoted to Executive Chef in May 2008. Besides creating the ‘perfect’ steak at The Palm, Marco also has experience in Latin Cuisine and enjoys making breakfast at home. Marco hails from El Salvador, is married to Claudia and has two children, Richard and Isabella. When not honing his skills in The Palm kitchen, Marco continues to be an accomplished soccer player and enjoys rebuilding automobiles.
Wendy Klein, Sales Manager
Wendy Klein, CMP joined The Palm Denver in 2003, bringing with her over 15 years of experience within the hospitality industry. Her background includes, but is not limited to Private Clubs, hotels, resorts and destination management. Wendy has held her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation since 1999. A committed hospitality expert she strives to build and maintain strong professional and community ties, being active in organizations such as Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and the Downtown Denver Partnership. She is also involved in the Metro Denver restaurant community. An Illinois native, another important aspect of her life is her family -- her husband Tom and two daughters, Kallie and Taryn. They enjoy the vast outdoor activities that Colorado living has to offer, spending their time together ‘lost in the mountains.’
